Build An Atom

To build an atom, arrange the various parts of the atom in the proper order. The first thing to do is add a proton. Without a proton, you cannot have an atom. Once the proton is added, you must add energy levels in order to add electrons. The different energy levels contain different numbers of electrons. You can add neutrons at any time after you have added a proton.

As you add the various particles, the totals are displayed along with the weight and charge. You can remove the particles at any time. As you remove particles, the totals are updated automatically.

The diagram of the atom is designed to show simply how the parts of the atom interact to produce the whole atom.
